Delivery Team Leader

Gabby Boczon

Gabby Boczon joined Next Phase in June 2021 as part of our recruitment training programme, and she is clearly a natural recruiter. Having just graduated from the University of Sussex with a 2.1 degree in Psychology, and with some great experience in client-facing roles alongside her studies, Gabby is excited to start her career in recruitment. Gabby has worked as a supervisor in retail environments, helping her develop leadership skills as well as a passion for excellent customer service. Her experience and education have taught her the importance of time management, task prioritisation and the need for clear communication. During her degree, Gabby obtained knowledge about leadership and work groups by taking organisational psychology and crowd & behaviour modules. The modules also included social cognitive development, culture and society, statistics and self regulation, among many others. For her dissertation she worked with a synesthete with a rare type of synaesthesia: phonetic-acoustic. During Gabby's third year she interviewed participants, created a test and analysed the results, which led to a successful analysis of the findings, indicating acoustic triggers in participants' synaesthesia.Gabby is now learning all about the worlds of cell and gene therapy, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology and clinical trials, alongside building her expertise in interviewing and coaching candidates. She has made a great start - welcome to the team Gabby! For a confidential discussion about career opportunities in life sciences, call us on +44 (0)1403 216216.
