Summary

Alex Dobson is recruiting for an exciting opportunity as a Quality Assurance Auditor for a leading Pharmaceutical Supply Chain company based near Heathrow Airport. They are looking for someone who has a background in undertaking internal audits from either a manufacturing, food or preferably a pharmaceutical background. 

The Company

The company are a dedicated medical supply company that source and distribute pharmaceutical, consumable supplies and medical equipment to healthcare professionals around the world. They have become leading players within this sector and are able to tender to each client’s supply needs whether that is a local project, right up to national scale tenders. The company’s main divisions incorporate International Sales, Clinical Trials Supplies, Unlicensed Medicines, Managed Access Programmes and the distribution of medical products. They are in the process of moving into a new warehouse space which is over 30,000 sq foot and situated very close to Heathrow Airport. This allows them to store goods in ‘Warm Rooms’, ‘Ambient Rooms’ and ‘Cold Chain Rooms’.

Job Description

 

  • To assist the QA Manager in ensuring company-identified self-inspection audits are carried out in a timely manner
  • Help the QA Manager in delivering quality-related training to employees
  • Aid the QA Manager in maintaining the company QMS
  • Support the QA Manager in ensuring administrative needs of the department are completed in a timely manner
  • To assist the QA manager in:
    • identifying training needs during deviation
    • closing out deviations and
    • following up on corrective and preventative actions
  • To help the internal departments to ensure compliance with Good Distribution Practice and the department’s own Working Instructions

Experience:

 

 

  • Working in a quality role (food industry, automobile or pharmaceutical industry)
  • Exposure to working with QMS and ISO

Essential:

 

 

  • Understanding of Root Cause Analysis and CAPA’s
  • Good command of the English language
  • Numerical and Literacy skills
  • Good PC skills, including Microsoft Office, Excel and Outlook
