My client is looking for a Business Development Executive to join an expanding Sales & Marketing department in which you will be focusing on the promotion of products that fall under the company’s banner.

My client is looking for a Business Development Executive to join the Sales & Marketing department whereby you compose marketing material and ensure the distribution is correctly actioned. You will work closely with distributors ensuring they are actively promoting their products and also provide them with necessary ongoing support and training. A key focus of the role will be direct product selling within Europe by working closely with colleagues to focus on strategic geographic and application areas. A knowledge of their products is not needed at the outset but you will be required to learn and a chemistry background possibly with some experience, will be essential. A degree in Science or Engineering, ideally chemistry, and work within a chemical laboratory environment is essential.

The company is involved in the development, assembly and supply of equipment that is used in laboratories worldwide to develop new chemicals, plastics and medicines. Their equipment consists of electronics for measuring things such as temperature, pressure and pH plus stirred glass and metal chambers that are heated/cooled for performing the experiments and all this is integrated through software.

Operating internationally, they are a company that specialises in the research and development of chemical reactors and systems. They provide both automated and manual tools for process R&D to clients in the pharmaceutical, fine chemical and petrochemical industries, as well as in academia.

Originally established in 1987, the company has grown to include a complete team of chemists and chemical engineers, working from their fully equipped testing facility in the UK. Innovation and new product development through process screening are ingrained in the company culture. Their specialist software development team with now over 20 years' of experience, is continually improving the most powerful and chemist friendly software available.

Annual Leave Entitlement
In addition to holidays designated as Public Holidays, annual leave entitlement is 22 days, of which normally three days and a maximum of four are to be taken as specified by the Company over the Christmas to New Year period.
