Job Description

Sue Wood is recruiting for a Customer Services Advisor to join a fast expanding unlicensed medicines manufacturer based in Surrey (within the M25).  The company has doubled in size over the last few years and now needs additional Customer Services Advisors who will support their key customers e.g. hospitals, physicians and pharmacists during the purchase of complex products, ensuring that all orders are placed correctly, ensuring orders are delivered on time. 

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with Customer Service experience who is looking for a new opportunity offering career progression.  This is a key role where you will be responsible for receiving orders from the company’s clients, for example Hospitals, Physicians and Pharmacists then processing these to meet set deadlines.  Due to the complexity of the company’s products and services you will need to use your initiative where necessary to liaise with other departments, ensuring the correct information is sourced in time and passed onto the client.  There will be times when the order cannot be fulfilled, e.g. a drug is not available in time, thus you will need to be able to handle difficult situations in a sympathetic manner so that the customer understands the reason why and what to do in the future.  

Do to the nature of the role it is essential that you have previously worked within the pharmaceutical / pharmacy sector, you will possess excellent customer service skills with a high attention to detail, have an confident telephone manner and be happy working to tight deadlines.  In-depth MS Office skills are essential, any experience of SAP would be highly advantageous.   This role does include working a weekly rotating shift pattern so would suit those that are able to work between the hours of 9 am – 8 pm (depending on shift pattern).
