Job Description

Based in Bristol, we have an exciting opportunity for a highly experienced Human Factors Consultant to join an innovative design consultancy, providing support to clients from the consumer, industrial and medical device sectors; which is where this role will focus.

The Role
You will provide direct support to the Head of Human Factors and as such will plan, oversee and manage all Human Factors projects. From formative and summative studies, to risk management and strategic planning you will be a pivotal part of the company’s Human Factors offering and will have the opportunity to work with third party clients from across the pharmaceutical, medical device and biotech sectors, helping to bring products to market that will improve patient outcomes.

The successful candidate will need considerable Human Factors experience gained within the medical device industry, with a minimum of seven years and this role would ideally suit someone from a design consultancy environment, although experience gained at end client manufacturer will also be considered. To make this role a success you will need to be driven and passionate about your role and able to offer strong leadership skills to the existing team. Someone with exemplary communication and organisational skills, who can work well as a member of a multi-disciplinary team. You will also be well versed in presenting findings to colleagues, clients and regulatory bodies in addition to presenting what the company can offer to potential new clients.

Strong commercial experience in risk and project management all in adherence to design control stipulations according to Quality Management System ISO 13485. To include but not limited to packaging, labelling and IFU for devices and user interfaces.
