The Company:

The company are a centre of excellence with the purpose to advance and accelerate the growth and development of the UK Cell & Gene Therapy sector.  They do this by collaborating with both academia and industry to take innovative therapies successfully across the translational gap to the clinic and then through clinical trials to launch.  They offer leading edge capabilities in process development, manufacturing in their state of the art laboratories as well as expertise in regulatory, clinical, market access and health economics.  Their long-term objective is to make the UK the place to come to commercialise therapies, by being the most compelling choice to their international partners.  They do not have a set therapeutic area but a large part of their focus is on immuno– oncology programmes.  They work in a very and dynamic forward thinking way looking to utilise the latest technologies enable them to remain at the forefront of research into this exciting sector that has great potential.

The Opportunity:

Alongside the laboratory based work you will be working closely with senior members of the team to manage projects in the laboratory often working autonomously.  You will be working closely with collaborators as a point of contact during the project as well as other duties such as attending face to face meetings and giving presentations.   With other responsibilities to keep up to date with the latest industry developments and be part of academic and knowledge sharing groups.
