They offer technical expertise centered on technology innovation bringing together different approaches and their state of the art laboratories.
Their model is to look for those they can partner with to further expand their network or service offering as well as collaborate those with a new technology to provide guidance on how to bring it to the market. They have expanded rapidly over the last 12 months due to the demand for their services which is a trend that is set to continue.
This role is ideal form someone who has experience of managing complex programmes with the ability to work with diverse external and internal stakeholders. You do not need to have pharmaceutical or life science experience for this role as the focus is on the ability to deliver results and work in a collaborative and communicative manner.
The purpose of the role is to deliver research programmes to bring new drug discovery technologies to the market that accelerate this process or assess the potential of a new drugs to be successful. Working on projects across their research streams (virtual, informatics, data science, laboratory and discovery) you will be working on internal research, academic and collaborative projects with industry. Managing projects from end to end working closely with the collaborator to set out the project scope to then manage this throughout the lifecycle to close out. With involvement in the transactional process including handling of IP, grants, funding and contractual relationships.
This is a highly visible role where you will be working with senior members of the company and external stakeholders with growth in the role and longer-term career progression opportunities.
Desired Skills and Competencies:
For this role, you will need to have demonstrable experience if project management within a technical and regulated sector e.g. FMCG, Oil & Gas, Life Science, Biotech, Pharmaceutical, Financial. With a project management qualification and educated to at least degree level. If you have experience of managing data science projects and project management software implementation then this is advantageous to your application. With experience of managing 3rd parties such as suppliers or vendors and the responsibility for managing budgets.
