Working predominantly with clients in Cambridge, but also with customers across the UK and Europe, this role will involve working with multiple clients to be their main point of contact and to help them to develop their technical requirements and formulate the best IT Informatics solution for the client in collaboration with the local and global company teams. This will involve activities such as configuring software, implementations and data integration, as well as broader BI projects. Your time will be split between working with the local customers on site, with the team in the office as well as working from home remotely.
With a solid academic background in informatics and strong technical knowledge and the confidence to work effectively with customers, you will have knowledge of some of the following systems;
- LIMS (E.g. LabWare, Labvantage, Watson, StarLIMS, Exemplar LIMS, Dotmatics)
- ELN (E.g. IDBS EWB, Biovia)
- Research, Scientific and/or Clinical Data Management systems (E.g. NuGenesis)
- Data Integration and Visualisation (E.g. Pipeline Pilot, Knime, Spotfire, QlikView)
- Statistical Analysis (E.g. SAS, R, GraphPad Prism)
It is not essential to have experience of every system, but strong informatics knowledge within the life sciences industry is vital, as well as a desire to learn new systems.
