Do you have a strong background in Clinical Supplies, whether from managing projects or from overseeing larger initiatives to optimise supply chain strategies (including IxRS)? If so, this could be an ideal career opportunity, particularly as you may be able to work the majority of the time from home! We are looking for an innovative Clinical Supply Chain Manager, to join the world’s leading clinical supply service provider, in a newly-created permanent position.

This role will suit an experienced Clinical Supply professional or a person with related skills in IxRS, clinical trial services, clinical pharmacy, clinical logistical services etc. You will be paid a very generous salary and benefits, to be discussed on application.

The Role
The Clinical Supply Chain Manager’s role focuses on the interpretation of clinical protocols and clients’ operating procedures that will be successfully converted into robust supply chain solutions. Working directly with key stakeholders, often at programme or account-wide level, and based on accurate forecasting, you will develop innovative processes and procedures. These will ensure clinical stock availability through scheduling, operational coordination and risk management. You will have the ability to pull together cross-functional teams for study management activities and to ensure full regulatory compliance. Internal contacts will include the Client Services Project Management team while externally they will include CROs, IVR/IWR providers, client clinical supply teams and client clinical management teams.

This position offers a highly competitive salary plus a flexible benefits package that includes a strong pension, annual bonus scheme and private health cover. If you live in the South East then you will be welcome to work full-time in the company’s impressive office in West Sussex. However, if you live further afield (Wales, Scotland or Ireland, for example) then you can work predominantly from home, visiting the office around once a month on average.

The successful candidate will have a full understanding of Project Management and Supply Chain Management relative to Clinical Supplies. This will ideally include a knowledge of all trial phases and how protocols translate into the entire supply chain plan. Candidates are welcome from both service provider and sponsor/pharmaceutical company environments.
