**Multiple Positions Available**

James Hume is seeking further Senior Manufacturing Scientists to join this expanding Biotech who are manufacturing their T – Cell therapies for use in Phase I and Phase II trials and are based in Stevenage.  These opportunities are within their Technical Operations Group based in Stevenage who are responsible for the manufacture and release of therapies for clinical trials. 

The role of Senior Manufacturing Scientist is to oversee the day to day production of therapies for clinical trials mentoring more junior scientists who will do the majority of the hands on manufacturing.   As a Senior Scientist, you will have additional responsibilities such as overseeing GMP compliance, leading any investigations or CAPA’s or change controls.  Plus, you will work with the process development team on the transfer of new methods and the optimisation of existing methods as they continue to develop.

This is a developmental role with the exposure to different responsibilities so that you gain additional experience to progress your career to a more senior role or other direction depending on how you want your career to develop.

Skills and Experience:
They are seeking people who have at least 3 years GMP experience in the manufacture of Biologics, or Proteins, or ATMP’s, or Stem Cells or Antibodies, or Vaccines, or Chemotherapy, or TPN, or Cell Therapies or Gene Therapies in a clean room / aseptic environment.  You do not need to have direct experience as you can be cross trained on their systems provided you have experience in one of the required areas.  A BSc or other qualification in a relevant life science is also necessary for this opportunity.

The Company:
They are a Biopharmaceutical company who develop and manufacture T-cell therapies to treat haematological cancers and solid tumours. They have existed for 4 years and is very well funded, with a clear strategy and expansion plan for the next 3 years and beyond. They have a pipeline of product candidates in development (for the treatment of haematological malignancies and solid tumours) and is increasing its GMP production capacity. Based in a state-of-the-art facility in Stevenage, Hertfordshire, you will join a team that is doing something genuinely meaningful.
