Job Description

NOTE: Due to the nature of this opportunity, there has already been a lot of interest from our established candidate base. Whilst this may not be the easiest position to secure as the hiring manager is looking for a best-in-class person and has the luxury of choice – she is prepared to move very quickly for the right candidate and is interviewing from w/c 15th April. If you are interested in applying please submit your application at your earliest convenience to avoid disappointment.

Company & People

More than just another typical CPM role; this position sits within a company that whilst only founded in 2016, has a senior management team that are best-in-class, in the world, having mastered haematology cell products, Car-T/Car-NKT and all CB19 related science under the sun.

Their founder is recognised as the “godfather” of neoantigen & mutational evolution in Medical Oncology, the CSO owns the manufacturing facility that the leading players in T-Cell therapy use for production, the CMO brings over 20 years' Oncology from Big Pharma and the 3 VPs make up 3 of the original 4 strong team responsible for launching the world’s first ever clinical trial in Cell Therapy in September 2018, of which the hiring manager for this position was the first hire for the clinical trial.

As if that wasn’t enough, their Chairman of the board is also the ex-CEO of one of the most successful European cell-therapy organisations to date.

The role

As you would have guessed, this team has now successfully entered the clinic with 2 programs and now have an opportunity for a best-in-class CPM to join them on this journey of high hope for patients suffering from Melanoma.

The current team of 6 really love their work and are extremely successful and have a lot of fun as a result. Therefore, the type of person required for this position will have a positive, winning, solutions-driven attitude. They will take full accountability for the clinical deliverables of the Melanoma program in conjunction with their vendors, ensuring all budgets and timelines remain tightly managed.

Key experience

-  3-5 years in a vendor management CPM position with full responsibility for clinical deliverables
-  Oncology project experience

The person would also ideally have had advanced therapies exposure (Cell & Gene Therapy/CGT/ATMP/Car-T etc.), however the hiring manager believes strongly in T&D and supporting her team’s knowledge expansion so can teach this if necessary. Her current team of 6 had no experience within advanced therapies when hired and are now nearly all considered experts in their field.

Whilst the business has only just entered the clinic, the hiring manager for this role is already planning rapid growth strategies for the US and Europe, which due to the nature of the products will happen very quickly, thus offering growth opportunities.

Good luck with your application.
