Job Description

Based in London, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Human Factors – Research Recruitment Specialist to join an innovative design consultancy, providing support to clients from the consumer, industrial and medical device sectors.

The Role

This new position has been advertised in order to bring previously outsourced services “in house” and will focus on the overall project management of usability studies run on behalf of third party clients. In collaboration with the existing Human Sciences team you will be responsible for recruitment of participants, facility access and arrangements, budgets and scheduling all of the activities to ensure a robust and effective usability trial that produces excellent results to feed back into the design process.

The Company

A long-established design consultancy, that work with some of the worlds most respected companies across a range of sectors including medical, industrial and consumer sectors. My client has a global presence and has won numerous design awards for the products they have produced. They are a collaboration of Designers, Engineers and Researchers working to complete projects all under one roof.

Experience

The ideal candidate for this role will be proactive, organised and have excellent communication skills, needed to manage multiple large scale international studies. My client is interested in speaking with candidates with over four years’ experience in a similar role, enabling them to hit the ground running, previous experience within a medical setting would be advantageous but a breadth of other industry experience will also be considered. An understanding of the regulations of such research is essential and accreditations to the Market Research Society, Health Research Authority or the British Healthcare Business Intelligence Association would be beneficial. My client is willing to support applicants with accreditation where needed to bolster existing skills.

As the role evolves, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to interact with clients, become an expert in hospital access and be integral to the ongoing development of this key client offering.

If you have the required skills and wish to work for a collaborative and supportive design consultancy then get in touch to hear more.
