Job Description

Have you just completed a degree in a scientific subject? Are you good at writing detailed reports that could be used in investigations? Do you have good attention to detail, identifying data trends? If you can answer Yes to these questions, this will be a great opportunity for you to gain experience in a Quality Assurance team within a Pharmaceutical company.

This is a fixed-term role for 7 months, until the end of April 2020, to cover maternity leave. We are looking for science graduates who could be available at short notice and can demonstrate strong admin, report writing and organisation skills. You will work in a supportive and friendly and fast-paced environment where achievement and ambition are appreciated, recognised and rewarded.

The Role

You will join a busy QA department that supports all company activities with close links to Manufacturing, Packaging, Validation, QC and Product Development, Sales & Marketing and Regulatory Affairs. This role will focus on various aspects of the Quality Management System. Using your skills to the full, you will undertake document control and systems administration, process customer complaints (using Trackwise), write detailed and clear reports, maintain systems compliance, analyse data, and undertake a range of other responsibilities relating to Quality within a highly regulated Pharmaceutical production facility.

This is a broad, challenging role that requires meticulous attention to detail, strong communication skills and the ability to multitask. Full details will be provided on application.

The Company

A pioneering Europe-based Pharmaceutical organisation who manufacture specialised treatments for people suffering from life-threatening diseases. Their products are fascinating, complex and ever-changing. You will be based in a pleasant setting in Worthing which has an excellent reputation for providing career development opportunities, challenging and engaging work and a vibrant working environment.

Experience

We are inviting life science graduates with strong attention and experience in report writing, filing and administration. Strong report writing skills are needed as you will interpret investigations, contribute to supplier contracts, write summary documents and procedures, and assist with the batch review process. You need to be someone who has a real interest and willing to learn about Quality Assurance in the pharmaceutical world.

If you have commercial experience this will be advantageous to your application, although graduates with no commercial experience will also be considered. You will demonstrate the ability to multitask, use basic statistical tools and methods plus have proven abilities in Word, Excel and/or Access to process and display data graphically. In addition, you will need a strong and enthusiastic work ethic, excellent communication skills and attention to detail and enjoy a closely-knit team environment.
