Job Description

This is a high-level Executive Assistant/Office Manager opportunity working with 2 key members of the C – Suite team as well as overseeing the overall office at this site.  They are one of the most exciting Life Science companies in the UK leading the way in bringing the latest innovative treatments to the market.  They need an EA/Office Manager to join their team on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract to cover maternity leave to work with the Chief Scientific Officer and the Chief Clinical officer, as well as managing the office of their subsidiary site.

The Role: The purpose of this role is to provide support to the Chief Clinical Officer and the Chief Scientific Office as well as act as Office Manager for this Central London site.  As the Executive Assistant to two key individuals you will manage their diaries to maximise their time, including Organising key internal meetings as well as external collaborative meetings and conferences.   As the Executive Assistant, you will also manage emails and screen calls to ensure the appropriate contacts are raised to the CSO or CCO and manage responses yourself where necessary.  As a key member of the team you will also manage the office to ensure the working environment functions as it should, discussing any matters with the executive team as required, and operate as a point of contact for staff and contractors.  This role plays a key part of the C- Suite team, working with colleagues always in a collaborative manner in a fast pace dynamic environment, with individuals who are passionate about their work.
 
Experience: For this opportunity, you will need to have experience of working as an Executive Assistant at a senior level e.g. C – Suite, senior manager or senior executive previously.  You will need to be experienced at coordinating diaries, arranging conferences/inter-departmental meetings and used to dealing with external stakeholders who themselves are respected industrial individuals.  Good working knowledge of SAP or SharePoint will be advantageous but not essential.
