Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing Programme Management team who are responsible for managing R&D programmes for the commercialisation of cutting-edge cell & gene therapies, working for a company who are a centre of excellence, leading the way in the development of cell & gene therapies.
You will be based at their headquarters in central London (close to London Bridge) and will support the Head of Programme Delivery & Management to ensure efficient management, reporting and delivery of cutting-edge R&D programmes for Cell & Gene Therapies.   This is a key role with a wide range of responsibilities that will include you being the main connection between BD, Finance, and Operations functions.  Working with the aim to ensure a seamless workflow from Lead to Opportunity to Project within internal portfolio management and finance systems, you will be the first point of contact for information with the ability to provide guidance on project management processes and systems.  You will work with the Programme Managers to assign projects as directed and communicate with them regarding these.  You will ensure dashboards are up to date and of the right quality for regular senior level meetings and reviews, this also includes the preparation of papers, building and managing the portfolio risks & issues register, highlighting the status to relevant senior members of the company. This role is highly visible within the Programme Management Team and senior members of the company meaning there is the chance to develop your career in this dynamic, growing and forward-thinking company.
Requirements: For this opportunity, you will need demonstrable experience of working as a PMO Analyst within a corporate environment.  You will have extensive experience using project management methodologies tools (ideally Prince 2) and will ideally have experience of working on R&D projects.  In addition, a strong background in project cost management processes and reporting to include plans, forecast, budgets, commitments, actuals and accruals is highly advantageous as is knowledge of SAP and SharePoint.
