Job Description

An urgent position has arisen for an experienced Project Manager, to join a leading Pharmaceutical organisation in Bathgate, Scotland, for a 6-month project. We are looking for an ambitious individual with excellent people skills, who can work with project and accounts teams to help review and analyse processes to clear some Aged Debts, resolve invoice disputes and optimise communication with leadership teams across the Bathgate site and other locations.
You will join a fast-paced environment which is based around the packaging and supply of drugs to clinical trials. The company is a large organisation with 30 sites worldwide, and as such they work with a number of different suppliers. This project has arisen to improve accounts and billing systems to ensure the swift processing of invoices. You do not need to have an accounts or finance background yourself; instead we are looking for someone with strong project management skills, the ability to review and analyse data, a strong focus on client management and good customer service.
On a practical note, you will need to have strong Excel skills (including pivot tables) and will ideally have a professional Project Management qualification. This contract is for 6 months initially, with a good chance of extension beyond this, and will be on an inside-IR35 basis with a pay rate of around £30/hour, or an equivalent salary of £44,000.
