CSV Test Analyst - 24 month Fixed Term Contract

A cutting-edge biotech based in Stevenage are recruiting for a CSV Test Analyst to cover a 24 month Fixed Term Contract where you will be involved in all aspects of testing on IT projects.  To ensure all test plans are correctly executed and documented, including new systems being implemented at their cutting-edge site.  The company are a leading the way in the commercialisation of life changing therapies, taking these through the commercialisation process using their expertise and cutting-edge services.
 
The role of CSV Test Analyst will work with IT Systems Project manager to lead all aspects of testing on IT projects for their systems including the implementation of new systems.  To ensue all test plans are documented and executed correctly, with the subsequent reports are of the highest quality.
 
This is a dynamic and technical environment where you will be collaborating with a wide range of teams including PMO’s, Users and Suppliers.  You will provide high quality QA and test support so that an independent assessment of business-critical systems for quality in line with objectives as set out with the IT PM.
 
Alongside the day to day testing you will identify business situations for future use in performance qualification.  As the CSV Test Analyst, you will conduct risk assessments for the production of test documentation to define the scope, resources and processes needed for the testing.  To then take responsibility for ensure that any new or amended applications are fit for purpose before being released into a live environment.
 
Desired Skills and Experience:  You will need to experience of testing within a web / browser environment with expertise of low-level detail testing within software applications with the ability to deal with higher level business cases.  With experience in the preparation and execution of test scripts, test plans and test reports.  Experience in data migration is advantageous to your application as well as working in an agile / waterfall environment.  Experience of working in a highly regulated environment is essential e.g. financial, if you have GMP / GxP experience this is highly advantageous.   
 
The Company: The company are a centre of excellence that is at the forefront of creating a viable and sustainable cell and gene therapy industry.  Their headquarters are in central London where they have built a leading multidisciplinary team that has the ability to take a therapy from concept through the development cycle to the market.  They collaborate with both academia and industry and they are able to provide the scientific, clinical and commercial expertise needed to overcome the challenges that hinder the commercialization of these fast developing, cutting edge technologies.  They have constructed a purpose-built manufacturing centre which opened at the end of 2017 and immediately after opening additional funding was allocated for the centre to be doubled in size due to the demand for their services.  This currently consists of 12 (of which 6 very recently completed) clean room suites out for collaborators to use to manufacture advanced therapies for use in clinical trials.
