Job Description

Our client is a leader in providing innovative and comprehensive, process-driven laboratory software solutions. They are currently seeking a Senior Sales Executive to drive new business within the Pharmaceutical & Biotech Industries.

THE PERSON:
We are looking for a high calibre sales professional, ideally with a proven track record selling software solutions to the Life Science industry. The ideal candidate will be from a pharma supplier background, results driven and have the commercial gravitas to network effectively at the senior level.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• To develop a detailed strategic plan; maintain, protect, and grow business for revenue growth
• Ensure quarterly and annual sales targets are achieved
• Identify your customer needs, goals and challenges, and provide solutions to these through the positioning of products, services, knowledge and expertise.
• Create and deliver presentations, coordinating appropriate resources for customer visits
• Manage forecasting and pipeline

REQUIREMENTS:
• Several years’ experience as a sales professional
• Experience of selling solutions to the pharmaceutical and biotech industries.
• Ideally you will have sold laboratory software solutions
• Have significant experience in B2B sales, customer and key account management experience as well as a proven track record in new business development

This is a home based role and will require approximately 25% travel.
