The company is aiming to revolutionise surgery through providing a market-leading solution of surgical robotics. The role:
As a data manager, you will be involved in contributing towards the development of the surgical robotic devices, which ultimately improve patients lives. Through the innovative approach this company takes, you will be a significant part of the creation, of a revolutionary solution which the medical device industry has never perceived before.
 
Role Responsibilities:
Participate to the design and validation of biomedical database management systems and data acquisition interfaces in accordance with the specifications.
 
Data Management
  • Maintain and improve the process for data management
  • Harmonize and analyze medical data
  • Update and write Python scripts for data curation
  • Create and dispatch annotation tasks
  • Gather, process and forward bug/issue reports
  • Develop tracking tools and product listings of individual data and consolidated overview tables for process monitoring
 
Data Quality Control
  • Develop and implement a process standardization regarding data quality/quantity monitoring and validation
  • Control consistency of biomedical database structures
  • Collect, control and validate electronic files and data sets before making them available to the concerned departments
 
Skills and Experience:
  • MS, or PhD in data management, computer science, analytics or other relevant discipline
  • Good knowledge of Python scripting
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Azure (storage accounts, functions, data factory) or willingness to learn
  • Knowledge of DICOM format is a plus
  • Ability to self-learn and work autonomously
  • Knowledge of medical devices is a plus
  • Considerable experience of understanding complex problems relating to data
  • Skills in gathering data from multiple sources and in multiple formats with knowledge of data warehouse design, logical and physical database design and challenges posed by data quality
  • Data synthesis and report-writing skills
  • Good organizational and data curation skills
