Are you a Medical Advisor? Have you got 1-2 years in a Clinical Research setting? Do you have an Oncology background?  If so, this could be an excellent opportunity for you.
 
 
A Medical Advisor is required to join one of the UK’s top Pharmaceutical companies who are known for discovering and developing over 150 + medicines and they are currently working on 27 clinical trials across 71 UK sites.
 
You will provide medical and scientific advice about Pharmaceutical products for their Oncology portfolio. You will also support other departments including NHS, Regulatory Affairs, Drug Safety, Medical Information. Health and Value, Corporate Affairs, Customer Operations and Clinical Operations.
 
The role is initially a 12 month contract position, with a good chance of extension beyond this. This is a mix of home working with commuting to Surrey. Please note that this role is part time working 1-2 days per week depending on Buisness needs. There is a competitive hourly rate ranging up to £37.86  per hour depending on experience which equivalents to £65,000.
 
Key Responsibilities:
 
  • Liaise with Healthcare professionals to effectively communicate and manage drug safety issues
  • Provide medical plans in relation to medical projects
  • Provide input to the Clinical team to ensure design and selection of trials is relevant and drive the completion of clinical trials
  • Support Health & Value in providing medical support for HTA dossiers
  • Support Regulatory Affairs in responding to questions from Regulatory agencies and implementing changes to the product SPC, PIL and PI
  • Provide specialist ABPI code compliance support
 
 
 
 
Knowledge/Skills Requirements:
 
  • Medical or Pharmacy degree
  • Clinical experience within the NHS
  • Oncology knowledge
  • Strong understanding of the ABPI code
