​Group Head of Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)
Location: Central London (with travel across UK sites)

You will shape and deliver HSE strategy across multiple sites, ensuring best-in-class standards, regulatory compliance, and a culture of continuous improvement. Qualifications & Experience:
  • NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent) in Occupational Health & Safety (essential)
  • Chartered Health and Safety Practitioner status (desirable)
  • Proven track record in a senior HSE leadership role
  • Experience developing and implementing HSE strategies across complex, multi-site environments
  • Strong knowledge of HSE legislation, risk management, auditing, and incident investigation
Responsibilities:
In this role you will lead the development and delivery of the Group’s HSE strategy, ensuring compliance, risk management, and continuous improvement. Key duties include:
  • Driving implementation and effectiveness of the HSE management system & ISO14001 standards
  • Acting as the principal HSE advisor, ensuring legal compliance and best practice adoption
  • Monitoring performance and preparing reports for the Board and senior stakeholders
  • Leading environmental performance monitoring and sustainability initiatives
  • Delivering comprehensive HSE training programs across all sites
  • Overseeing incident investigations and managing risk frameworks
Skills / Technical Competencies:
  • Strong understanding of ISO45001, ISO14001, Risk Management
  • Expertise in environmental impact monitoring and sustainability metrics
  • Excellent leadership and influencing skills with the ability to gain Board-level buy-in
Nice to Haves:
  • Internal Auditor qualification (ISO45001/ISO14001)
  • Experience with ESG frameworks
  • Background in occupational safety for hazardous chemicals and biological agents
