Do you have extensive experience with LabWare LIMS systems? Are you familiar in working within GxP environments in QC laboratories? Do you posess knowledge in administration and development of a Labware LIMS system? If you answered yes then this might be the role for you! 

I am currently working with a pioneering UK-based Pharmaceutical company specialising in the development and production of injectable and oral dose vaccines and diagnostic kits for patients who suffer from allergies. They have developed an innovative approach to immunotherapy which will be of particular interest to someone with a passion for scientific innovation and GMP / sterile production. There are over 300 employees in Worthing and the company has an excellent reputation for its fast-paced environment, pioneering science and ongoing development opportunities.

This is an exciting role for a LIMS specialist to join the team and be responsible for developing, leading, organising and managing the LabWare LIMS system. 

This role would fully on-site based for the forseeable future, however once the company starts to make the transition into a paperless lab, there will be more flexibility in working from home.

Responsibilities: 
  • the future as part of our QC 2.0 Vision.
  • Implementing LIMS functionalities to build smart and efficient workflows for the lab of
  • Improve operational performance by bringing manual workflows into LIMS and bridging LIMS to other lab management systems and equipment.
  • Provide 1st and 2nd level support for resolution of LIMS problems with close collaboration with the IT Helpdesk and LabWare (EU support)
  • Maintaining and developing a robust LIMS in a GxP environment together with the current LIMS administrator and LIMS super users.
  • Supporting colleagues by ensuring timely and accurate access to data.    
Qualifications and Expeirence:
  • IT or Science background with some IT experience.
  • In depth knowledge of Labware LIMS
  • Knowledge of installation, configuration, support and maintenance of Labware
  • LIMS.
  • Possesses an insight into data architecture/IT and the interface between technology and data infrastructure
  • Able to translate operational needs to digital workflows
  • Experience with managing key stakeholders
  • Strong analytical approach
