About The Role:

You will be working as an Analytical Scientist (MS&T) where for the next 12 months (maternity cover contract) you will be given the opportunity to optimise Analytical Methods for the MS&T function at the Centre by working within a commercial framework, utilising cutting edge technology and Quality Control / IPC analytical tools. The role itself will be high profile, both within the organisation and outward facing to the Company’s stakeholders and collaborators. The MS&T Analytical Scientist will work closely with the MS&T Lead and Senior Analytical Scientist to plan and deliver on the Innovation work for the Centre. This role will therefore give you the opportunity to:

  1. Gain exposure in and alongside GMP environments

    2. Work at multiple manufacturing sites on a variety of different projects collaborating with a plethora of different businesses

    3. Work with a company of 300+ that is exceptional in training with analytical techniques to industry standards

    4. Work with a company that has gained huge amounts of investment over recent years, and as such be working with lots of cutting edge technology

    5. Be at the intersection as processes transfer from initial concept into GMP space

About you:

  1. experience with molecular biology techniques from university (specifically ELISA, qPCR and ideally flow cytometry)

    2. 6 months+ placement working on molecular biology techniques (a premium if had previous employment / pharma backgrounds are equally acceptable if you have molecular biology experience mentioned above)

    3. Have the Right To Work in the UK (unfortunately this company does NOT offer sponsorship) and would be open to commute / relocate to Essex
