An Outcomes Consultant is required to join one of the UK’s top Pharmaceutical Companies who are known for discovering and developing over 150 + medicines and they are currently working on 27 clinical trials across 71 UK sites. As a cross functional team of experts, they create and execute comprehensive market access strategies through the integration of pricing, reimbursement, HTA, and health economic modelling activities.
As you will be in a Senior Manager position you will play an important role of managing the research studies for real world evidence and outcomes research used in HTA, reimbursement and market access. You will lead these studies and projects by liaising cross functionally to ensure procurement, compliance and legal requirements are met with your advanced knowledge. Your expertise and innovative approach will enhance the value of medicines and the impact to patient outcomes.
This remote role is a 12 month contract position. However, you would need to be able to commute to Surrey once a month. For a highly experienced Outcomes Consultant who can fulfil all the essential criteria, there is a competitive hourly rate ranging up to £50.63 per hour depending on experience, which equivalents to £77,000
Key Responsibilities:
- You will work with product reimbursement and clinical research teams to improve their strategies and programs
- Identify and develop research plans for studies
- You will anticipate and troubleshoot road blocks
- Influence teams to achieve targets
- Drive high quality and comprehensive assessment to identify key opportunities for innovation in real world evidence, outcomes research and/or outcomes based agreements
- Oversee business implementation of analytic strategies and identify opportunities for improvements
- Contribute to a culture of excellence in people development and account management through coaching and mentoring colleagues
Knowledge/Skills Requirements:
- 7 year’s experience in HTA, Market Access, HEOR and Reimbursement
- Understand National Health Service (NHS) policy and guidelines and their impact on different customer groups in relation to key NHS targets
- Understand ABPI code of practice and the requirements pharmaceutical companies must comply with to ensure ethical and transparent code of research
- Understand of global drug development, COA instrument development and the methods addressed in the Food and Drug Administration procurement guidance
- Pharmaceutical experience
- Strong project management, strategic and analytic skills
