An exciting opportunity as aProduction Planner for a fantastic CMDO who produce material and active pharmaceutical ingredients for use in advanced therapies such as DNA and mRNA vaccines and Cell and Gene Therapies. Working with 50 biotech and pharma companies as well as deploying technology for development of their own medicine. This client remains a privately-owned biotechnology company, backed by an impressive network of ultra-high net worth individuals, family offices and specialist healthcare investors. They are looking for a Production Planner – SAP Master Data Specialist to join the expanding CDMO team, reporting to Head of Supply Chain.
This is an exciting opportunity in a fast-paced environment suited to initiative-taking individuals with experience in a contract development and manufacturing or other biomanufacturing environment. This position will play a critical role in supporting operational growth of the business.
This role is based on a manufacturing site in Hampton, however, there is flexibility to work from home for part of the week. They are offering a competitive salary package and benefits scheme for this position.
Your responsibilities will include:
Scheduling of production lines
Assist in the Implementation of SAP Advanced projects.
Material Master Data and Customer Master Data administration
Master Data analysis and reporting
Lead resolution of issues such as shortages, and production delays that may influence on-time delivery to customers.
Create, maintain and report set KPI's to outline production activities and effectiveness.
Work collaboratively with the operations team to prioritise clients and orders and ensure that the planning schedule meets the needs of the customers and the business
Troubleshoot production and inventory issues when they arise.
You must have:
Strong track record of Production Planning and Scheduling in a fast-paced manufacturing organisation, using SAP.
Prior experience of administering Material Master Data and Customer Master Data in SAP.
Experience working with SAP S4 HANA or ECC6.
Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel spreadsheets.
Outstanding data manipulation and analysis skills.
Experience in a manufacturing supply chain planning environment, ideally with GMP experience within a biotech or pharma company
