  • Work collaboratively with experts from other fields (e.g., medicinal chemistry, computational chemistry, machine learning) to remove project obstacles, create metrics to track progress in ways linked to business value, and determine optimal “next steps” to push discovery programs forward
  • Lead progress and actively manage relationships for important client projects
  • Manage relationships with CROs, partners, and vendors across highly diverse topic areas (g. chemical synthesis CROs, wet-lab experiment CROs, boutique life sciences experiment partners)
  • Identify CROs, data providers, and other collaborations that have the ability to support initiatives in an efficient and cost-effective manner

Requirements:
  • Proven operator experience in a relevant technology heavy environment
  • Content knowledge and experience at the intersection between life sciences and technology

  • Significant experience as a high achiever at venture-backed biotechnology or technology start-up
  • Relevant technical education such as: PhD degree in computational or life sciences related field, Masters degree(s) in computational or related life sciences fields
  • Experience managing projects and teams in a tech environment (e.g., big tech or within a technology start-up)
  • Exposure to industry R&D workflows and decision making
  • Sufficient programming knowledge, familiarity with programming management tools, and exposure to both on premises and cloud supercomputing
