A QC Supervisor is required to join a leading cell and gene therapy organization. My client are creating cutting edge therapies that are changing people’s lives and are massively growing. The ideal candidate will have experience in QC analytical assays and testing and is looking to take on supervisory responsibilities.
This role is a permanent position, with their office being based in Edinburgh, there is also a competitive salary ranging up to £44,500 with great company benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Organise and lead all analytical activities
- Ensure all sampling and testing is done correctly
- Review QC documents and procedures to ensure all work is carried out is compliant with regulatory guidelines
- Ensure all raw materials used in manufacturing are only released after being inspected
- Make sure all the equipment is maintained
- Train and do reviews with the QC team
- Support with recruitment
Knowledge/Skills Requirements:
- Experience in GMP QC analytical assays and testing
- Leadership and management skills
- Molecular biology background
