The Role:
You will be responsible for day-to-day planning and carry out laboratory-based tasks to assist senior team members to deliver projects to agreed timelines and budgets.
Responsibilities includes:
- Perform lab-based activities to contribute to the development of research – based manufacturing processes.
- Carry out media preparation, culture of various cell types and performing routine assays such as flow cytometry, ELISA and RT-qPCR
- Operate under aseptic techniques ensuring reagent supply is available, equipment is calibrated and ready to use
- Using your communication skills work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of projects
- Follow internal processes such as GMP, comply with QMS and use electronic laboratory notebook for data capture
Required Skills and Expertise:
- MSC/BSc in a Life Science discipline
- Experience in biologics or cell biology, background in immunology, virology, or other related life science discipline
- Experience in analytical techniques: Flow Cytometry, ELISA, qPCR, RNA/DNA isolation
- Experience in cell culture with mammalian cell types would be advantageous
- Experience working in a research or industry-based manufacturing environment with cell therapies or biologics
- GMP experience would be advantageous
