We are looking for a highly qualified and experienced Mechanical Engineer with PhD/Masters/ Bachelor’s educated within mechanical engineering with focus in analysis techniques and engineering principles. Our client has performed fantastically and has worked on some amazing projects for the betterment of the world. The role is permanent and full-time and is committed to a highly competitive salary package with excellent benefits and requires you to work hybrid with 3 days site based in Bristol.

To be successful in this role it is necessary for individuals to be analytical thinkers with a passion for understanding how products work and understanding the needs of the user.

Skills and Experience Required:
 
This role requires PhD/Masters/Bachelor’s graduate level within Mechanical Engineering and Mechanical Design with experience in working in consultancy, medical devices, and pharmaceutical companies.
  • A strong emphasis on the application of engineering principles and analysis tools, with skills in:
    • fluidics
    • thermodynamics
    • stress/strain
    • materials science
    • optical design
  • Experience with ISO14971 risk management practices and the use of FMEA and Fault Tree
  • Mechanical systems and products are designed from concept to completion.
  • Experience with drug discovery and prosthetics would be ideal.
