Working within a growing and collaborative team of digital marketers and supported by a good level of resources, the Community Manager will play an important role in creating an industry leading social media brand.
The Community Manager will be encouraged to, and given responsibility for leading on this: taking a positive, can-do approach to reputation management and building relationships with customers across social media channels.
A creative specialist in social media engagement, the Community Manager will have exceptional writing ability, with experience of producing engaging content, written with style and in the appropriate tone for your target audience.
Living and breathing social media, you will proactively maintain an awareness of developments across the discipline, actively observing what competitors and other social media-focused brands are doing and sharing this with your colleagues; collaborating on and contributing to the overall strategy of the digital marketing team.
Managing your online community, you will respond to comments and customer service queries across Facebook, Twitter and other social media platforms, always being mindful of how you can create content that resonates with customers and drives engagement.
Though ongoing training and support will be readily given, you will also take responsibility for crisis management when the need arises; and by producing weekly reports on your social media activity, and that of your competitors, help inform new social media tactics and strategy.
