Overview:
We are looking for individuals with a strong life sciences background coupled with experience in laboratory automation and LIMS/ ELN. The successful candidate will become an expert in our client’s product, and provide support to Salespeople throughout the sales process, meeting with customers and providing demonstrations. This position will primarily be focused on the UK and EU.
Responsibilities:
- Attend customer meetings with Salespeople, and ensure that information from customer meetings is captured and shared across the company
- Perform demonstrations of solutions to customers
- As a subject matter expert and product evangelist, provide expertise to customers and Salespeople
- Determine standard demonstration scenarios in conjunction with Product Management group.
- Create responses to Requests for Proposal (RFPs)
- Assist in creating sales collateral (case studies, white papers, news stories, webinars, demonstration videos)
- Create quotations and workshops
- Occasional travel to customer sites across the EU, as well as conferences.
Qualifications/Experience required:
- Scientific Degree qualification subject such as biology, biotechnology, chemical engineering, informatics or chemistry
- Experience supporting sales of research informatics software and/or laboratory automation hardware; and/or experience of working in a lab with automation and LIMS
- Familiarity with sample management operations and systems
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and Salesforce
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong customer relationship skills
- Solution-focused, showing initiative and innovation
