Alex Dobson is recruiting for an exciting opportunity that is ideal someone who has 2 or more years experience working with a leading Expanded Access and Name Patient Programmes. The company are a young, ambitious, small to medium sized pharmaceutical company based in West London. As an organization they focus on providing patients with untreated medical needs who have tried all the available treatment options. They offer EAP options that can help life-threatening illnesses that can allow them to go into new treatment options. In addition to this they offer the NPP programme which give access to unlicensed or unavailable medicines to patients around the world. They are looking to expand their middles management team and have a role for an exceptional candidate with a background in medicines procurement (e.g procurement professionals, pharmacists or pharmacy technicians/dispensers etc.)
The Operations Manager will report into the Managing Director and be directly responsible for ensuring the pharmaceutical warehouse and associated office functions run as a seamless unit. The successful candidate will ultimately be responsible for making sure that products are ordered and then dispatched effectively, ensuring the customer is always at the heart of what we do.
Key traits for this role will include a good deal of common sense, be methodical and be able to manage effectively.
Operations Manager Oversight of:

- Stock Dispatch
- Temp Monitoring
- Stock Control
- Facilities management
- Order Processing
- Procurement function management
- Supplier/Customer relationship management
- General office management
- Quality Management System (QMS) responsibilities to GDP standards
- 4-6 direct reports
You will need to be an ambitious and driven individual who is prepared to make this position your own. A minimum of 2 years Operations Management is a must but it is that drive to move your career and the company forward is a must. The opportunity to grow with the company is a certainty as they look to double their staff over the course of the next 2 years.
