A major Pharmaceutical organisation in Bathgate has created TWO vacancies for Project Co-ordinators, to join their Client Services Project Management team and offer a broad range of support to a team of Project Managers. You will be paid £18,000 and this would be a contract for 6 months initially (with a good chance of extension).
You will receive extensive training in the company’s services and will have a variety of responsibilities including:
- Maintaining project trackers using JD Edwards / Change Point systems (full training will be provided)
- Preparing and managing project plans
- Communicating with clients regarding project activities and updates
- Attending project meetings and preparing reports for management
- Resolving issues relating to packaging and / or supply chain operations
- Tracking overall project progress against project plans and milestones, while reporting any deviations or likely deviations
- Managing documents and other project materials
This will be a busy, fast-paced role that requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to review and complete complex documentation. The projects are typically large and international in nature and can involve teams from multiple sites. The role involves working closely with, and in support of, Project Managers providing comprehensive support and backup services to ensure the projects are running on time, within budget and to specification. You will learn a great deal about the Pharmaceutical / Clinical Trial Supplies industry and this will be an excellent career opportunity for a Science graduate who is looking to gain commercial, client-facing project management and co-ordination experience.
You will be paid an hourly rate which is equivalent to an annual salary up to £18,000, depending on experience. You will ideally live within commutable distance of Bathgate and be able to start at relatively short notice.
A major Pharmaceutical service organisation based in Bathgate, West Lothian. The Bathgate specialises in the packaging and distributing new drugs which are being tested in clinical trials across the worldwide. The contract is offered for an initial period of 6 months, with the strong possibility of extension beyond this, though this is not guaranteed. You will be paid a salary of £18,000, which will be converted to an hourly rate which includes all statutory amounts such as 28 days’ holiday and national insurance contributions.
The successful candidate needs to have a degree (ideally scientific, though this is not essential), ideally backed with some experience in a commercially-focused and / or customer-facing position. Some experience in project planning, administration or document management would be a significant advantage. You will need to demonstrate first-rate communication and problem-solving skills and the ability to scrutinise and interpret technical documentation and data in order to compile detailed pricing proposals. Above all else, you must be a hard-working, reliable individual who gets on well with people at all levels.
