Do you have excellent attention to detail and experience working in a highly regulated environment? 4 x brand new temporary positions have arisen in Nottingham for Production Operators to join a leading Pharmaceutical company to start in early January. The role is initially for 6 months with a good chance to become permanent. You will be working Monday to Friday 8am-4pm and paid a rate of £12.43 rate per hour, which is based on equivalent of £19,000 annual salary (less statutory and Umbrella company deductions). You will be able to volunteer to work overtime on the weekends.

The role:

 Working in a GMP manufacturing environment you will be responsible for supporting Encapsulation Operators during the manufacturing process by completing documentation related to the Encapsulation process during a changeover.

 You will set-up/assemble Encapsulation Machines for operation per batch record instructions and will monitor encapsulation processes to minimize rejected product at the machine and will operate the Encapsulation Machine if required.

 Help to maintain a clean work area on the encapsulation floor.

 You will perform in-process checks and evaluate product quality.

 Assists operators with material and gel receiver changes as necessary, ensuring empty receivers are transported back to respective departments.

 Assemble, handle and stage tray stacks with manufactured softgels.

Suitable candidates should be aware that your primary workstation will be located in the manufacturing area, where the noise level is high. Suitable candidates will need to be able to push and/or pull on average 500 kg (approximately 1,100 pounds) and you will need to be able to withstand heights, climb ladders, and lift 0-50 lbs. walk, stand, sit, kneel, lay to perform repairs. There will also be some exposure to industrial chemicals and detergents, with some handling of flammable materials and potent drug compounds.

Experience

We are looking for hard-working, committed individuals with strong attention to detail. Previous experience in a regulated environment (GMP or ISO, from the Pharmaceutical, Food or Medical Devices sectors) would be a strong advantage but is not essential. Above all else, we want someone who works hard at all times, who offers excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), good literacy and numeracy, patience, an honest and likeable manner and strong attention to detail.
