Do you have a strong background in GMP operations, with experience in developing and managing training programmes for operational staff? Do you have a good understanding of aseptic Pharmaceutical manufacturing operations?  If so we have an exciting requirement for a GMP Trainer to be based in Stevenage where you will be responsible for developing GMP training programs to support the aseptic manufacturing of Cell and Gene Therapy products and performing training. The GMP Trainer will also be responsible for maintaining and updating the overall training strategy and is offering a salary up to £40,000 (DOE) plus an excellent benefits package. Your role will include:

  • Compiling the GMP training program.

  • You will be the Training Coordinator for the electronic Quality Management System; and will maintain and update the training programs for all employees.

  • Working in collaboration with HR, you will deliver the internal Train the Trainer program for GMP training tasks.

  • Support the creation, delivery, and update of training packages for aseptic operations, including (but not limited to) cleanroom use, gowning, material transfer, and cleaning and disinfection regimes.

  • Ownership of the GMP Induction training programme, including provision of refresher GMP training.


Skills and experience required: -

  • Practical experience in aseptic pharmaceutical manufacturing.

  • Will have performed training for GMP operations.

  • Experience of writing procedures to support GMP operations.

  • Experience of working with quality processes such as deviations, change controls or corrective actions.

  • Stakeholder engagement to facilitate the creation and continuous improvement of training packages.

  • Project ownership and pride in its delivery

  • You will need to be a strong team player, with a hands-on approach and the ability to manage multiple and varied tasks and prioritise workloads.

  • Ability to respond effectively to multiple operational requirements.

  • Ability to quickly establish credibility and build rapport and trust.

  • Ability to provide and receive constructive feedback to internal stakeholders and Collaborators.

  • Use of software for e-learning/ video production of training content.

  • Train the Trainer course (internal or external certification) and a good understanding of adult learning principles is advantageous but not essential.
