Have you worked your way up to Principal Scientist level within a Cell Therapy, Gene Therapy or Biopharmaceutical environment? Are you a natural communicator with strong project management skills? Do you want to do something a bit different now though...something that combines your scientific and GMP expertise with your ability to oversee the “bigger picture”? If so, read on!!
 
We are hiring for an Alliance Manager (this is the official job title), to join a leading ATMP organisation and take ownership of a range of projects relating to external collaborations. We are looking for someone with the ability to facilitate partnerships, ensure the alignment of systems (including Quality and Supply Chain agreements) and make sure that manufacturing projects meet specific requirements and deadlines.
 
The Role
 
This is a permanent role, based between London and Stevenage, with flexibility to work across either or both locations with some home-based days. You will be paid a generous salary and benefits (to discuss on application) and this is an opportunity to work with some of the UK’s leading scientists to take cell and gene therapies forward and into the clinic.
 
You will be responsible for:
 
  • Building strong collaborative relationships with third parties
  • Leading projects from a scientific, GMP, logistical and quality perspective
  • Managing day-to-day communication between organisations
  • Onboarding new partners and working with manufacturing, engineering, warehouse, quality, technical services and scheduling teams to ensure smooth-running of projects
 
Requirements
 
If you have a scientific degree (biological science, molecular biology, biochemistry, microbiology etc) and a few years’ experience with a commercial organisation (sponsor or vendor), a good understanding of the collaboration / outsourcing process and excellent communication / project leadership skills, please get in touch!
