Do you have excellent attention to detail, patience, and communication skills? A brand-new temporary role has arisen with Allergy Therapeutics, a Pharmaceutical company in Worthing, West Sussex within their Production department. This is a temporary contract to start ASAP following an interview for an initial 3 – months. You will be paid a rate of £12.12 rate per hour, which is based on the equivalent of £18,525 salary (less statutory amounts & umbrella company deductions).
You will work 7am-3pm, Monday to Friday. You will work in a clean room and will need to wear PPE.
The Role
You will join a busy, supportive team that specialises in primary manufacturing operations, working with a range of substances to produce liquid vaccines for allergy sufferers. The department is within a high-grade, state-of-the-art GMP clean room that requires you to work meticulously and carefully at all times. Your role will include aqueous filtration processes, stock solutions, dispensary and media qualification activities, working both by hand and with machinery. You will wear clean room clothing (overalls, hair net, shoe covers, no make-up etc).
Experience
You will need to have worked somewhere that requires excellent attention to detail and precision. Candidates will be considered from industries such as Pharmaceuticals, Food, Medical Devices, Precision Engineering, Lab Testing (including microbiology testing), Diagnostics etc. You do not need to experience in a GMP-regulated Pharmaceutical company, but this would be a significant advantage. Above all else, we want someone with excellent communication skills, good numeracy skills and an honest and likeable manner.
Science graduates with no experience will also be considered, as this is a great way to go straight into paid work from uni and gain some commercial experience.
Candidates will regrettably not be considered if they have booked excessive holiday during the period of May – July time. Occasional days off will be permitted, but not several days in one block.
