A QC Supervisor is required to join a leading cell and gene therapy organization. My client are creating cutting edge therapies that are changing people’s lives and aregrowing. The ideal candidate will have experience in a GMP environmnent carrying out QC analytical assays and testing using primarily flow cytometry and/or qPCR and has a passion for managing a team.
This role is a permanent position, with their office being based in Edinburgh, there is also a competitive salary ranging up to £44,500 with great company benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
You will be resposible for delivering analytical testing programmes and implementing QC strategies for cell and gene therapies. You will play a key part in developing the growth of the company.
- Schedule analytical activities and ensuring testing is completed against standars
- Review procedure to ensure compliance and coordinate QC documentation in QMS
- Represent QC Analytical Team on client calls and internal meetings
- Train and and undertake performance reviews with the QC team
Knowledge/Skills Requirements:
- BSc in Life Science or related discipline i.e.: Molecular Biology etc.
- Experience in GMP QC analytical assays and testing, primarily flow cytometry and/or qPCR.
- Leadership and management skills, strong communication skills and passion for people and teamwork.
