Do you have experience in QA from a regulated environment (ideally GMP)? Do you have strong skills in report-writing, data analysis and undertaking non-conformance investigations? A new permanent position has arisen for a Quality Release Officer / Senior Quality Release Officer, with a leading Pharmaceutical company in Worthing, West Sussex. The salary is up to £27,000, plus excellent benefits, depending on experience, and this will be a fantastic career opportunity for a hard-working, bright individual.


The Role


Working in a collaborative team, you will provide Quality guidance and support for GMP manufacturing, production and packaging operations. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Reviewing batch records for both bulk manufacturing and specials / specifics production

  • Checking documentation before QP release

  • Acting as the main Quality contact within the Specifics area

  • Ensuring QA Data Integrity

  • Providing Clinical Compliance support and assisting in the management of clinical trial (IMP) batches

  • Assisting with a range of site projects, to maintain compliance to GMP and other regulations

  • Undertaking continuous improvement initiatives and proposing changes to help with efficiency and communication

Because the company’s processes are currently paper-based, and because you need close contact with Production teams, you will be based 100% of the time on site in the Worthing office. The environment is highly controlled and very well set up for social distancing, making it a safe place to work.

Experience

The successful candidate will have QA experience gained in a Pharmaceutical, Diagnostics, Medical Device, Food or similarly regulated environment, where you have developed strong report-writing, document review / control and data analysis / integrity skills. A life science degree would be an advantage but is not essential. Above all else, you need to have a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, the ability to work well with people at all levels, and a willingness to learn.
