Senior Scientist II, PD Vector – Upstream
Senior Scientists in Upstream Process Development for Vector Production lead process design and optimisation for viral vector manufacturing, crucial for gene therapies and vaccines.
Key tasks include:
Designing transfection or infection workflows – Using HEK293, Sf9/Baculovirus, or AAV platforms.
Scaling up processes from bench to bioreactor – Optimising parameters such as MOI, media composition, and harvest timing.
Writing process protocols and technical reports – Supporting internal reviews and regulatory documentation.
Troubleshooting production challenges – Investigating yield, impurity, or cell viability issues.
