Back in 2021, we decided to take a different direction for our internal hiring and rather than looking to hire experienced recruiters only we decided to concentrate on building a Trainee Recruitment Consultant programme. Mistakes have been made along the way but we are learning and adapting as our trainees move through the programme to ensure it works for everyone.

Two years on and we’re taking the opportunity to reflect on this decision and how it’s helped us grow our business. The trainees who have completed the course have been given the opportunity to choose their path and specialism which means they are engaged and invested in what they’re doing. They have learnt the company processes and understand the reasons they are in place. We have some excellent team members who are committed and ambitious.
