Recruitment has come a long way in the last 5 years, think Covid, technological advances and employee expectations, and as recruiters we have to be willing to evolve and embrace everything that provides our clients and candidates with quicker processes or larger talent pools.

The key trends we see shaping recruitment in 2024 are:

Virtual Recruiting: With around 70% of companies conducting at least half of their recruiting and onboarding virtually, the push towards a more digital hiring process is clear. Companies like PwC are leading the way with innovative approaches, such as mobile-enabled "choose your own adventure" experiences for candidates, enhancing engagement and efficiency.

Remote Work: The acceptance of remote work has expanded hiring pools globally. Over one-third of companies are now open to hiring remote workers from anywhere in the world. Offering flexibility in work location and hours, as well as providing remote work technology, is becoming a key differentiator for attracting talent.
