Steve joined Next Phase in 2006 as a graduate and worked his way up to becoming Director in 2016. Steve has helped and advised a number of smaller and larger pharmaceutical businesses and he recruits across a broad spectrum of roles, with a particular focus on permanent and contract GxP quality positions and the application of different imaging in clinical and pre-clinical studies.With a first class degree in Experimental Psychology and a diploma in Psychodynamic Counselling, Steve has a keen interest in the dynamics of teams and how to manage business growth whilst preserving the most important characteristics of a business. He has built and grown teams across the UK and Europe, not only finding and attracting candidates but also working closely with his clients to advise them on training, employee development and staff retention. Steve designs recruitment assessment centres, presents at a range of conferences, produces salary benchmarking reports and has an active involvement in learning the latest in recruitment legislation, including IR35.Steve enjoys writing articles and has released a series of blogs including the importance of covering letters, how to prepare presentations for interviews, and how the uncertainty of Brexit may be impacting on our lives and career choices.
