Job Description

Calling recent life science MSc and PhD graduates!!   Are you an enthusiastic and ambitious individual? Do you want to embark on an exciting and dynamic career in Medical Communications where you can really utilise your science knowledge and exceptional writing skills?  This independent medical communications agency are seeking an outgoing Account Executive to compliment their busy team. 

Commissioned by major Pharmaceutical Companies, this reputable and busy agency plan and produce educational and promotional meetings, and develop educational and promotional printed and digital materials.  

The work is interesting, varied and sometimes intense, but is always creative and satisfying.   Current projects include organising meetings of up to 120 delegates, developing printed sales materials, as well as developing e-details and phone applications, and producing digital adverts to appear on healthcare websites.

The role will involve working on multi accounts and will include medical writing, organising and managing stand-alone meetings, symposia and congresses and helping with the running of advisory boards, and managing printed and digital campaigns.

Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills are vital to this role. The employment package will include:

  • Starting Salary: £25k depending on experience
  • Supply of a laptop
  • Holiday- 25 days (excluding bank holidays)

  • ABPI training
