Summary

Based in Cambridge we have an urgent and exciting opportunity for an experienced medical device developer to work on projects relating to drug dose delivery injector pens. This is a varied role in a small friendly team that will be project focused working in state-of-the art facilities within a global pharmaceutical solutions provider.

One of the largest companies in the world covering a range of Pharmaceutical and Healthcare products and innovative development. The Cambridge site specialises in the design and development of drug delivery devices / patient device interactions and invests heavily in recruiting the best scientists and designers to contribute to the growing portfolio. 

The Role

This position focuses on working on medical device projects as a subject matter expert, providing support to drug delivery development teams. Carrying out a range of tasks related to design and development and strategic planning of projects within the arena of Injector pens. It is a flexible role in which tasks will vary from project to project, but will include: definition of analytical components, user and product requirement specification, design verification and implementing strategies with regards to stability, shelf life and  transportation. You will be responsible for reviewing vendor analytical activities and accountable for release data sections of regulatory submissions.

This is a varied and engaging role, initially for a 6 month contract but with a strong possibility of extension well beyond this.

Experience

To be considered for this role you will require a relevant qualification and experience in supporting design and development of drug delivery devices within industry and a good awareness of user interaction. You will need first rate organisational and communication skills and enjoy working in a small and supportive team environment.
