Your role
Work with the engineering and R&D team to:
Create and maintain bill of materials (BoM) lists with supplier and cost info.
Coordinate with US based contract manufacturing with manufacturing data-packs.
Negotiate and improve prices.
Purchase components for engineering projects.
Establish new suppliers when needed.
Perform period stock-take on UK based items.
Monitor electronics component supply issues.
Assist with non-CAD engineering documentation.
Skills and Qualifications required
Possess technical knowledge in standard engineering manufacturing processes.
Have strong organisational skills.
Ability to follow processes and work independently.
Skills Preferred
Experience with ERP Systems in particular Sage.
Experience with Microsoft office (Word, Excel, etc.).
Experience with New Product Introduction.
Good knowledge of cost breakdown.
