GMP Facility Manager

Following over 2 years of highly detailed planning, collaboration and partnering with large groups of the industry’s most recognised Advanced Therapies pioneers, key opinion leaders and influencers, to ensure their dream of building a truly exceptional, cutting-edge Gene Therapy Manufacturing Facility at the forefront of addressing the current bottlenecks widely concerning the cell & gene therapy community is realised, and since securing the funding allowing them to officially push-the-button; this brand new facility, due to commence its build imminently, now has an extremely sought-after, unique, high-growth opportunity for their first on-the ground hire to come and join this brand new venture as their GMP Facility Manager.

This position would only be suitable for someone with a momentous and unwavering ambition to drive a project with significantly meaningful growth prospects at a personal, business, national and sector-wide level, from facility-build through start-up, and onto a commercial scale operation.

Bringing together all key stakeholders, including investors and contracted facility design and build teams, the GMP Facility Manager will spearhead the successful build and start up of the facility from a project management, technical and operational standpoint, and later on to strategic leadership opportunities.  You will play a critical role in ensuring the entire facility is suitably equipped and optimised for the manufacture of AAV vectors for Phase I of this major program, and in later phases other vectors for additionally reserved facilities for development phases of the project, ensuring that MHRA cGMP compliant standards are successfully achieved.

We are seeking somebody with significant AAV manufacturing expertise, in order to utilise this knowledge to achieve the key objectives outlined above.
