Our global Laboratory instrument and software company client is seeking an Informatics Sales Specialist to support the very successful growth of their businesses across the UK and Ireland. This is a fantastic opportunity for a strategic sales individual to join a collaborative and growing team who have a strong presence within the market. You will also have a great opportunity to work across their product portfolio furthering your technical skills and personal development.

As an Informatics Sales Specialist, you will be an ambassador for our client and will bring to the market their informatics products and services. You will demonstrate a clear grasp of understanding the customers’ business and its growth plans, as well as be able to take the knowledge and convert it into a solution and product offering, with a primary aim of bringing “customer success”.

Responsibilities:
• Achieve sales goals and quotas for the territory (UK & Ireland)
• Position and demonstrate at high level – Informatics products to prospective customers
• Manage accounts in collaboration with System Account Managers and expand business
• Develop and execute selling plans and projects in order to expand accounts and capture new business
• Interface with the organization on strategic planning and service delivery
• Present to customers and prospective customers the standard features and functions of Informatics products
• Discuss product concept to prospective customers, clearly, concisely and articulately
• Organise events/webinars to keep customers abreast of new developments

Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline or equivalent
• Demonstrated experience with enterprise class software – chromatography, Lab Management System (LIMS) Products, SDMS, etc
• A strategic, collaborative approach to sales with the ability to build a strong pipeline, managing sales cycles of 9-18 months.

Location:
Our client offers the option for office, hybrid, or remote working. You will be expected to travel within territory – which will predominantly be within the UK and also includes Ireland.
