Purpose of the Role
You will be overseeing IT Infrastructure, Security, Service Delivery and Support to deliver a high-quality service to end users, and ensure processes are in place to meet business needs. You will support the Group Head of Finance and IT to establish and manage expectation within the business and drive the IT team to achieve expectations to a high standard.

Responsibilities
As an Enterprise Architect you will evaluate internal functions, business development strategies, IT processes and suggesting improvements and further responsibilities, which will be provided on application.

In regards to Service Management, you will be responsible to manage 7 Service Delivery Engineers across three sites and maintain high performance service support functions including IT Service Desk, Desktop Support and VIP Support and further responsibilities, which will be provided on application.

You will also be required to support meetings by delivering excellent Presentation and Audio-Visual support, ensuring meeting room technology is maintained to a high standard and ensuring that training services are in place to educate staff on how to use meeting room and collaboration technology effectively. You will need to be able to provide hands on technical support to the business and leading the Service Delivery team to improve desktop computing environment, ensuring laptops, PC’s and other access devices are built and maintained to a high standard. To work with the team to evolve standards for hardware and software and security in the Desktop environment.

You will make recommendations for Service Improvement Plans, work with internal and third-party teams to ensure actions are taken and completed to protect and improve services. You will be responsible for recruitment, mentoring, training, target setting and performance assessment.


Experience

BSc or MSc in computer science, information systems, business administration or related field or equivalent work experience.

• Experience in enterprise architecture.

• Ability to diagnose problems quickly and solve problems effectively.

• Expert knowledge of ITIL disciplines.

• Able to demonstrate the ability to undertake the above responsibilities.

• Experience in system architecture may be advantageous.

• Excellent technical, analytical, and project management skills.

• A passion for Service Improvement.

• Experienced Service Management professional.

• Previous experience as a Team Lead or demonstrable experience in leading teams.

• Experience of managing 3rd parties and 3rd party delivered services.

• Service Management or Support in a diverse and collaborative environment of incident management, escalation procedures and related disciplines.

• Excellent leadership and people management skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Willingness to support and mentor junior staff.

• Excellent customer facing/customer service skills.

• Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

• Able to demonstrate a high degree of flexibility including shift and out of hours working.

• Excellent organisational skills.

• Able to manage sensitive and sometimes confidential information.

• Self-motivation and able to take responsibility.

• Able to manage, prioritise tasks and time efficiently.

• Able to demonstrate initiative and a proactive approach to daily tasks.

• Performs other duties as and when directed.
