Contract IxRS Project Manager roles available throughout 2018 with major pharma company. The roles are home based in the UK (or can be office based if you prefer, in Reading). In this role you would take ownership of providing IxRS solutions to complex global clinical studies. The roles are for an Initial 12-month contract with extensions notified at the start of the 11th month and offer a competitive day rate with the security of 2-month notice period. Flexible start dates throughout 2018 are available to accommodate notice period /end of contract dates.
Our client is committed to expanding their UK IxRS group over the course of 2018, which is part of the global IxRS group serving multiple therapeutic areas. In 2017 they have taken on a total of 6 new UK IRT contract staff and all for the existing contractors had their contracts extended by 12 months (except for 2 who converted to permanent employee status with the company). We are proactively planning to meet a similar level of expansion in 2018 and are working on this program now. The positions will be home based in the UK with initial 12-month contracts and the expectation for the contract to run well beyond this or be converted to a permanent employee role. We have a number of contractors in their 3rd, 4th and 5th years with the company as they look to establish long term relationships with their “in-sourced colleagues”. Contractors are not used for contingency purposes, with a target of 30% of the European clinical group working on a contract basis. The contracts will be outside of IR35 and are usually extended at the start of the 11th month with a rate review. A competitive daily rate is offered as well as a flexible 35 hour working week and the security of a 2-month notice period.
To cater for the client’s needs we are building a portfolio of candidates available over the course of next year. The company offers flexible starts dates based on your availability and will cater for notice periods / current contract end dates. They are looking to recruit proactively from the start of 2018 and put in place contracts as far in advance as possible.
You will be a key part if study team and the IxRS SME to the group. You will be involved in protocol development to ensure the study benefits from the best use of the system and have oversight of the IxRS external vendor undertaking the build. In addition, the position offers the opportunity to be involved with clinical supplies.
